Laurel
And Hardy - Bonnie Scotland [1935] |
Classic Feature , maybe a little too
much plot but some beautiful sketches , cooking a Fish using a candle , a
bedspring and a couple of pencils , cleaning up the parade ground while
accompanied by the Regimental Band , but my favorite bit is Stan managing to
get the whole Regiment to march in step with HIM rather than the other way
round. |

Laurel
And Hardy - Chickens Come Home /... |
"Chickens Come Home" , "Dirty Work" ,
"The Chimp" , "Dirty Work" is an inspired piece of lunacy with the boys
managing to destroy a room while trying to sweep the chimmney , and then
managing to turn Ollie into a Monkey! |
 |
Laurel
And Hardy - March Of The Wooden... |
Romp in Toyland with Bogeymen ,
Little Bo Peep , Tom Tom , and of course Stannie Dum and Ollie Dee . usually a
Christmas favorite with a nice piece where The Boys manage to get Santas order
wrong and instead of 600 wooden soldiers 1foot high they manage 100 soldiers
6ft high! |
 |
Laurel
And Hardy - Block Heads [1938] |
Stan is left guarding a World War
One trench while Ollie goes over the top. Twenty years later he is still
there... |
 |
Laurel
And Hardy - The Devil's Brother... |
Sparkling Operetta provides a great
vehicle for the Boys , Highlights include Stan trying to fill a jug full of
wine .....and drinking most of it , or trying to rob a peasant , and ending up
GIVING HIM money, lovely stuff. |

One of the most spectacular films
